NAD+, Glutathione & Vitamin Injections: What Each IM Shot Does

Intramuscular (IM) injections deliver vitamins and nutrients into well-vascularized muscle, where they absorb steadily and bypass the digestive system. Each visit takes only a few minutes. Here is what each shot on our menu is typically used for.

How IM injections work

A small volume of a vitamin or nutrient preparation is injected into the deltoid, glute, or thigh with a fine needle. Because absorption happens through muscle rather than the gut, uptake is more consistent than with an oral supplement — and unlike an infusion, there is no line, no vein access, and no hour in a chair.

Our IM injection menu

  • NAD+ IM — $70 — NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell, involved in energy production and cellular repair. Popular among people focused on energy, mental clarity, and healthy aging.
  • Glutathione IM — $60 — an antioxidant the body produces naturally; often chosen for skin brightness and general antioxidant support.
  • GLOW IM — $99 — a combination shot aimed at skin, hair, and nail quality.
  • Vitamin B12 IM — $40 — commonly used for energy and to support people with low dietary or absorbed B12.
  • Vitamin B-Complex IM — $45 — a broader spread of B vitamins supporting energy metabolism.
  • Vitamin C IM — $45 — antioxidant and immune support.

Peptide therapy, also IM

Alongside the vitamin menu, Lumina offers physician-prescribed peptide therapy as an intramuscular injection. Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules. Read our full guide to IM peptide therapy or see peptide pricing.
